Boards Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age Roulette Jackpot Sidequest. Any tips? raphaelz 5 years ago 1. So you need to hit the jackpot at the roulette in order to complete the Vince's statue sidequest.
So far my strategy has been to bet on every single number but after many many many tries, the RNG is against me since even though I win the roulette, it never stops on the jackpot slot. Is there any trick for doing this sidequest? Or am I at the mercy of the RNG gods? I need help on this one too : Hopefully someone can answer of there are any tricks to it.
endymionrose 5 years ago 3. i put one coin on every number plus the chest, at the coin roulette, totaling for 37 bets. You lose coins this way per attempt, but when the coin does land on the jackpot, you win 1 million coins, so its a nice trade off imo. I got the jackpot after 4 attempts, probably lucky, but it shouldnt take too long.

I am seriously good at this. You can actually guarantee a profit on almost every spin, by the way, and it's faster and less painful on your hand than betting on every number. Just put your cursor on the top left number, then hold Square and Right and you'll place the max bet on every individual number and every spot in between those numbers, stop when you hit the last number.
Go down a row, repeat going left, then repeat going right for the third row. Much faster than only betting on the numbers themselves. You will make a profit on every spin unless one of the 6 numbers on the left or right are rolled, but you're guaranteed a profit overall.
I would recommend against betting on the chest as it only ends up lowering overall profits. If a chest is rolled, you just lose that bet, it won't matter in the long run. Jackpot quest. Then switched it up and did 9 stacks around one number 18k tokens for me I picked 20 , within 5 minutes I hit the jack pot. But sadly I was missing like k tokens to buy all the casino exclusive so I tried again with no bonus message from the bunny girl, just hoping for a small payout to cover the prizes and won the jackpot again with lucky number So if you are not having the best luck winning the roulette try going big on one number, you might get lucky.

The game actually has her there to tell you for a reason and it's been my experience that you get the jackpot automatically just betting on one number after she says it repeatedly. I could even change the single number I bet between rolls. The game probably has a higher RNG chance or a diminishing return type mechanic that eventually gets you the Jackpot.
I'm not claiming it's exclusively relying on her saying it. I'm just claiming it's similar to metal spins on slots in that you have a much higher chance of getting it. It's obvious the game is rigged to get you that Jackpot when the RNG hits just by watching the animation. I also don't think ZodiacSoldier 's tip on soft resetting is even necessary.
Just keep betting and you'll win eventually. Much sooner if the girl tells you the chances are high.
